"One Last Wave"

Season Two, Season Finale

After we get to be jealous of the guys at the beach surfing, Kristen, Jessica, and Alex H are sitting around a table discussing what their futures may hold.

Jessica tells Kristen that she can see her as a Television Host. I can see that!

Kristen tells Jessica that she is going to be driving her family around in a minivan. I can see that too.

Kristen tells Alex H that she would have her own boutique.

We go over to Taylor's house and she is packing. Alex M. is crying (a theme for most of the girls) because Taylor is leaving.

Next, we are over at Lauren's house. LC is packing. Stephen drops by to say hello. She is not crying, but I would be if I had to leave that house of hers.

LC is excited to be moving to LA. Of course she is! She can leave that whole mess with Jason behind and start over. LC said she had "a momentary lapse of reason" with that whole Jason thing.

Then, it's back to Kristen. She is sitting on the beach and looks like she just lost her best friend. Stephen the social butterfly that he is, stopped by to spend some time with Kristen.

Throughout the entire program, Kristen is the most emotional, which is very surprising. Kristen is usually such a rock. She is so strong, I admire that quality in her.

We get a second scene with Kristen, Alex H, and Jessica together. The girls hug and cry their eyes out. At least Alex H will be in LA with Kristen. Jessica will be staying behind to finish high school.

Talan and Jason say good-bye to each other. Of course Talan tells Jason he loves him. Is there ever a time when Talan doesn't say I love you to someone?

I really think the title of this episode should have been "One Last Wave of Tears". I understand them being so sad, all good things come to an end.

We now have Season Three to look forward to.

We will at least have LC's little sister and Jessica. I'm sure that some of our old favorites will be in there sometimes when they come home for a visit. Especially Kristen and LC because they have the strongest ties to season three cast members.

The best news is we will have "The Hills". We can watch Lauren in LA during her Teen Vogue Internship!

Lauren Conrad is going to be in a Laguna Beach Spinoff. We all know she is moving to LA right? Along with most of the cast. MTV will be filming LC during her Teen Vogue Internship. I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more this seasons cast on that show.

"Nothing More To Say"

After last weeks episode, this one has a tough act to follow. Drama, Drama, Drama. LC is having a big farewell party. This is going to be a real swanky catered event.

Guess who's not invited? You guessed it, Jason and Jessica. Guess who is invited? Kristin. I know! They want to bury the hatchet.

Jessica tells Kristin "I'm not going into her territory when I hooked up with her boyfriend." I guess what goes around comes around. I seem to remember a certain someone named LC hooking up with Kristin's boyfriend. They keep referring to LC's house as her territory. What did she lift her leg on it or something to mark it like a dog?

What was really surprising was the remark Kristin made to Jessica, "I can't believe you did that to Lauren." I like that Kristin.

Taylor and Alex M were over at Morgan's house. And I quote "Everybody should just get over Jason." Alex M said with a laugh. No kidding, she should know!

Back to that farewell party, Laurens (LC) house is so amazing. I bet it is one of the best houses in Laguna. Stephen was teasing LC about Jason and Jessica having a hot date, and that was why they weren't coming to the party. Kristin calls Stephen, while he was over at LC's house, and to my surprise, LC says "tell her to get her little butt up here."

Kristin is on her way with Alex H to the party in the beemer she is all nervous to go into LC's territory. I think it would have sounded more gangsta if they would have called it her "turf". But I'm just a commentator.

Kristin is figuring that she is going away to college and there is no reason to have this negativity between them.

I really don't know what power it is that Jason has over these girls. I haven't seen any power this strong since Michael Jackson and his pre pubescent boys.

Jessica is like that little annoying insecure girl that you can't trust. You know the one I'm talking about, the person you call to go out with when all of your friends are busy. It's a lot of work to be around her, but at least you have somebody to go out with.

When Kristin got to LC's house she said "I can't believe I'm at Lauren's house." Before they went inside the camera cut to the kids inside, and I said "I can't believe they are drinking out of plastic cups." I would think for the swanky party they would have at least pulled out the Plexiglas. I guess red plastic hides the alcohol best.

Kristin and Alex H walk into the party, and they are dressed casual. Everyone else is dressed formal. It's a cocktail party. They were all embarrassed. There were only a few people there, I think it was just an excuse not to stay.

The two only did a walk through, grabbed Stephen and left without so much as a word to the hostess. LC was obviously hurt. Alex M made fun of Alex H and Kristin going off in a click, to lighten or maybe heighten the situation.

The next day, LC and Co are out shopping, and no one mentions it but LC is losing her voice. Her friends are telling her that Jason is "devastated" and that he is a "good guy". With friends like that who needs enemies.

Lauren hints that she may give Jason another chance.

Jason calls Jessica and asks her to "cruise by quick". They make some uncomfortable small talk and Jason blames Jessica for the kiss. Jessica tells Jason to call Lauren. I was really surprised by that. Jessica was being cool when she was sober.

Jason calls Lauren (LC) and acts like nothing is wrong. He asks to stop by. Lauren says you can't come inside my house my Dad won't let you. You go Conrad Dad. I can't believe she let him come over to talk. I would have said no. Jason gets there, "How's it goin?" Puleeze, how do you think it's goin' playa? Jason apologizes, it goes a little something like this, It sucks cuz, uh, duh, I still like you, duh, uh, I'm sorry, uh duh, how do you feel?

Lauren then asks him, How would you feel if I kissed an ex-boyfriend right in front of you? My entire family was there. You ruined everything. You know that right? I could almost see a thought bubble above Jason's head that said, she sure looks pretty, I am watching her lips move, but I'm not listening. She still wants me, I will come back later and get her back.

Next week is the season finale, it should be exciting!

"I Saw You Kiss Her"

This was the best episode of Laguna Beach yet! Here is the recap:

A lot of things happened in this episode. There was a benefit for the victims of the landslide. Aptly named "Fight the Slide 2005". I'm pretty sure it was Steven who came up with the name.

This was a fashion show and live auction. Well, before the fashion show starts Talan sings a song for the masses. I hear the boy got signed with a big name label. He better get some singing lessons STAT!

Jason appears drunk, or stupid, maybe both. As during Talans song, he says "I love you Jason." What? Why does everybody love that hideous Jason? Jason pulls Jessica onto his lap where they go crazy over Talan's song. They must be wearing some big ole beerplugs, because they are acting like homeboy can sing.

Alex M is up next with her singing debut. She actually has potential. She reminds me of a non professional Kelly Clarkson. I think she has some raw talent. During Alex's song, Jason tries to cozy up to Lauren aka LC. "I don't like other girls sitting on your lap Jason." "Babe, she just sat down." Of course she just sat down, they way you pulled her she would have fallen on the ground if she didn't land on your lap. He left that part out when explaining to LC.

Jason takes LC aside, so they can talk. For Jason, talk = lie. Got it? Good. "Do you still like Jessica?" "It's like you don't trust me. As gross as it sounds I'm obsessed with you." If by gross you mean stupid, then yeah Jason, it does sound gross.

LC goes back to her directing and talks down to Jessica to behave. "Who's lap was I sitting on?" asks Jessica wearing her best drunk poker face. Jessica then disappears, LC is concerned about Jessica's whereabouts. Partially because she has to walk the runway in just minutes. LC rounds the corner she hears Jessica say to Jason "I've been looking for you everywhere." Then Jason says "Don't worry, I still care about you." The LC sees Jason kissing Jessica! Say it with me here, Ooooh. Busted.

Jason tries to approach LC, "Get away from me." "I don't like it when people try to make me look dumb." "Be mature." Was Jasons response. Dieter was listening. He was there for LC to cry on his shoulder. She only cried for like 30 seconds. Way to pull it together girl.

The drama continues. Dieter confronts Jason. Jason says that Jessica forced herself on him. Then Jason "swears on his life" that it was Jessica. Dieter, being the stand up guy that he is (he's also Jessicas ex). Decides to call Jessica on his Treo. He puts her on speaker phone and confronts her. Jessica totally denied the kiss. Dieter hung up on her.

Then LC pops up in the background. "Hey Dieter! Did you just yell at Jessica? Because it really wasn't her. I watched it, and it was all Jason."

LC you need to stop slummin'. You really couldn't go any lower than Jason. Well, except maybe if you hooked up with Kevin Federline. But thankfully at the moment, he's taken.
